How to Restrict Inappropriate Games on Your Computer
Thanks to the ESRB, you can use NetNanny to ensure that the appropriate games are being played on your computer.
Read the full review of Net Nanny Parental Controls
Today I'm going to teach you how to manage what games are played on your computer using NetNanny. Open the dashboard and under Game select Manage Games. This screen gives you three options for blocking or allowing games. You can block by rating. Just pull this slide bar to indicate which ESRB rating you want to be allowed on your computer. I'm going to block Mature and Adult Only games. This section allows you to block games by title, regardless of their rating. For example, even though City of Heroes has a Teen Rating, once I click it, it's blocked. The third option is to block games that have specific content in them. For this example, I'm going to block Strong Sexual Content. Click OK and NetNanny will save your preferences.
